Jennifer Lee Dawkins Smalling "Jenn" was born on October 14, 1968, in New York, New York to Mr. Dawkins and the late Gussie Mae Kemp.

Jennifer's family moved to Belle Glade, Florida where she went to school and graduated with honors from Glade Central Community High School with the Class of 1986. After graduating, she pursued her career in law-enforcement at The Palm Beach County Sheriff Department, where she became a sergeant and formally known to everyone as Sergeant Smalling. In 1990 she met and married Leon L. Smalling and have been married for 33 years. She later retired from Palm Beach County Sheriff Department after 24 years of service in 2010.  Since retirement, she joined the Domino Progressive Club, continued to travel, and enjoyed her time left here with us.

She leaves to cherish her husband of 33 years Leon L. Smalling, two daughters and a son: Latonya J. Smalling (David), Charmaine Smalling, and Anthony Smalling (AJ), a granddaughter: Kamaya Huggins, Stepchildren: Denique Smalling, Kevin Smalling, Breton Smalling, Vanessa Smalling; stepfather: Donat Clennon Sr. whom she all loved dearly.

12 siblings: Nalice Hart, Donat Clennon, George Clennon, Anita Clennon, Gerry Clennon, Albert Clennon, Lloyd Dawkins, Jeffery Dawkins, Jerome Dawkins, Jasmin Dawkins and Kawanna McDowell.

Her nephews like sons: Edward Ealey, Deiondre Clennon, Anthony Smith, Antwan Smith, Antavious Smith.

Her friends: Iris Dukes, Deputy Brack, Mrs. Penny, Mrs. Buckey, Progressive Dominos Club and All Fan Clubs.

She had a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends, that she loved and cherished dearly.
