Jean Ellen McGriff was born October 22, 1945 in Belle Glade, Florida to the Late Major and Hattie Bennett McGriff
Jean grew up in Okeechobee Center Belle Glade, Florida and was educated in Palm Beach County Schools.
Jean never met a stranger she always wore that big smile that greeted you anytime you saw her. Jean was employed by various companies doing agriculture work in Belle Glade, an GA Foods in Belle Glade.
Later in her life after Jean worked at Glade View Elementary as a Foster Grand Parent which was the highlight of her life, she really enjoyed being with the kids, and looked forward to going to work every day.
Jean gave her life to Christ and was faithful member of New Birth Deliverance Baptist Church, Belle Glade, Florida where she enjoyed the fellowship and services until her health did not allow her to continue to attend, but God was still in the midst.
On January 28, 2020 the Lord said Well done my servant time to take your rest, Jean transitioned to her Heavenly home. Jean was preceded in death her Parents Major and Hattie B. McGriff, Siblings-Fred D. McGriff, Carolyn M. Simmons, Gwendolyn P. Carter.
Jean leaves to cherish her memories her 4 children, Teresa McGriff, James Morris, John Morris Sr (Sandra) and Charles Morris Sr (Bithia). Sister Gladys M. Cameron, Brother Carlton McGriff Sr

Williams, Jaquay Collins, James Moore Jr, Ja' Kiya Moore,
Alonshanae Williams. God Children-Gwendolyn Owens,
Marie Fields, and Darren Ware. Special Friends-Claudia
Upshur and Joann Worther, and a host of Great Grand
children, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
