On November 11, 1941 in Dooly County, Georgia the late Mr. Ollis Chastine Sr. and Mrs. Eva Mae Chastine was blessed with a baby girl in which they named Jannie.
Jannie's family relocated to South Bay, Florida. She received her education through the Palm Beach County School District.
She met and married Mr. Link Dunson. Jannie was employed with Palm Beach County School District as a bus attendant. She was a member of Eastern Star Lodge. Jannie joined the Inspirational Church of God in South Bay, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Johnny W. Johnson Sr. In her spare time Jannie enjoyed caring for children, gardening and fishing.
November 23, 2016 Jannie transitioned from labor to rest. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Joann Chastine and Lucy Mae Law.
Jannie leaves everlasting memories with her six children: Linda Williams of South Bay, FL, Marie Dunson of Stuart, FL, Rodney Dunson (Charmaine) of South Bay, FL, Lamarcus Johnson of West Palm Beach, FL, Lavorris Maddox of Ft. Pierce, FL, Lavinski Johnson of Belle Glade, FL, Shane Dunson of West Palm Beach, FL; her siblings: Ollis Chastine of Pahokee, FL, Alberta Williams (WC) of Arcadia, FL, Betty Judge (Gilbert) of Arcadia, FL, Yancy Chastine (Shirley) of Pahokee, FL; one god-daughter: Quiana Butts; Jannie also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend to cherish her memories.
