In Loving Memory of Janice Perry
March 21, 1952 – October 31, 2025

On Friday, October 31, 2025, the Lord whispered softly and welcomed home His beloved daughter, Janice Perry.

Janice was born on March 21, 1952, in Augusta, Georgia, to Morris Perry and Rever Johnson. She attended primary and secondary school in Augusta before moving to Belle Glade, Florida, in 1966 to live with her mother. She graduated from Lake Shore Bobcats high school Class of 1970 in Belle Glade Fl. She furthered her education by attending Norfolk State University in Virginia.

A bright student with dreams of becoming a doctor, Janice discovered her true calling in nurturing and guiding young people. She dedicated more than 40 years to the Palm Beach County School District as a paraprofessional, where she made a lasting difference in the lives of countless students, especially those who needed compassion, understanding, and encouragement the most.

Janice's life in Belle Glade spanned over six decades, during which she built a legacy of kindness, faith, and Devotion to others. She loved watching TV, playing bingo, and spending time with family and friends. To know Janice was to feel her warmth, laughter, and genuine care. She never met a stranger, and she was often the shoulder her friends leaned on during difficult times.

A woman of deep faith, Janice trusted in God's will throughout her life. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Janice was preceded in death by her Parents and beloved grandsons, Sharrod Higgs and Stephen Phillips.

She leaves to cherish her memory four devoted children: Nina Mack (Jeffrey) of Gifford, FL; Warnell M. Phillips (Paula) of Boynton Beach, FL; Sheldon L. Perry (Tawanna) of Belle Glade, FL; and Janicka C. Thomas of Royal Palm Beach, FL. She is also survived by her brother Michael Perry of Augusta, GA; her sister Phylis Clark of Wellington, FL; Sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

Janice's life was a testament to love, faith, and service. Her light will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.
