James Wesley Rowley of Belle Glade, FL, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018 at JFK Medical Center. James was born on June 9, 1928, to the late Samuel and Bernice Rowley in Kiptopeke, VA; there he grew up and attended school. In 1952, James relocated to Belle Glade, FL where he resided until his calling. In October 1953, James and his late wife Izola Rowley united in Holy matrimony. Through their union, four children were reared- Lillie Ruth Nicholson, Nathaniel (Bam) Rowley, Aaron Rowley and Nathaniel Rowley Jr. James was a passionate man who served as an agricultural worker throughout his working years and served as a member of the Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ of Belle Glade, FL. James was extremely loving and loyal. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He also enjoyed watching TV, especially Westerns and Wrestling. He will truly be missed. James was predeceased by six of his siblings Theodore, Johnnie, James J. Rowley, Samuel, Lillian, and Annie. James' legacy will be kept alive. To cherish his fond memories, he is survived by: 1 daughter: Lillie Nicholson of Belle Glade, FL, and 3 Sons: Nathaniel Rowley, of Belle Glade, FL Nathaniel Rowley Jr, and Aaron Rowley. He is also survived by three sisters Vida Rowley, Fannie Rowley, Mary Lockwood, and one brother: Henderson Rowley (Mildred), sister-in-law Helen Rowley (Theodore "Red"), brother-in-law Clifton Lewis (Annie), and a host of loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
