Jamarian "Jay"
Perkins-Phillips
Mar 1, 1991 — Feb 3, 2023
West Palm Beach
Jamarian Perkins-Phillips was born on March 1, 1991 to Dorothy Ford Turner and Jimmy C. Perkins Sr.
Jamarian was known by several names but to many "Jay", his grandmothers "My Boy", his mom "Nuke" and as a skilled basketball player "The Truth". Jay was the most humble, sweet, kind hearted, mannerable, obedient soul of a young man you could ever meet. Jay had a special love for his grandmothers and especially his mother. Being that Jay loved everybody and not being a troubled child he earned the name "Golden Child" at an early age, to know him is to love him.
Jay was a skilled basketball player for the Glades Central Raiders and graduated from the Class of 2010. Later in life Jay attended Florida Memorial College in Miami, Florida where he studied Journalism, played on the basketball team and pledged the fraternity Men of Character. Jay later attended Palm Beach State College to study Communication.
Jay graduated in 2019 from Lehigh University with a BA in Environmental Studies. Jay elevates on any job, manager at Walmart, Supervisor at Amazon, then elevated to FPL as a GMR Contractor. Jamarian was also entrepreneur, where he owned several vending machine. Jay loves spending time with children, being a family man, and putting a smile on the faces of everyone he encountered. Little did we know on February 3, 2023 that God was going to call him home, God always plucks the best from his garden.
