Jacqueline Marie Thomas was born the sixth child to the late Yvonne Jones Thomas and Leroy Sistrunk on October 11, 1963 in Maryland. Jacqueline went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2026, with her family by her side in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Jacqueline was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She valued time spent with those she loved and always offered support and compassion to those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Jacqueline lived a life grounded in love, compassion, and dedication to those around her. She was known for her generous her unwavering support for family and friends, and her ability to uplift others with her wisdom and encouragement. Whether through a comforting word, a helping hand, or a heartfelt smile, Jacqueline made a lasting impact on the lives of many. Though she is no longer with us in body, Jacqueline's love, legacy, and beautiful spirit will live on through the many lives she touched.
Jacqueline preceded in death by her mother: Yvonne Thomas, father: Leroy Sistrunk, two brothers: Kenneth Jones and John Yarns. Four aunts: Eula Collins, Dorothy Johnson, Mary Harrell, and Evelyn Bolden, one uncle: Willie Jones.
"Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her one devoted daughter: Shamekia Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia, two loving sisters: Olivia Reese of Belle Glade, Florida and Brenda Thomas of Clewiston, Florida, four caring brothers: Melvin Thomas, Bruce Thomas and Darnell Thomas all of Belle Glade, Florida and Stephon Thomas (Nesha) of Pahokee, Florida. One aunt: Laura Odoms of Belle Glade, Florida, 2 uncles: Nathaniel Jones of Belle Glade, Florida and Anthony Jones (Teresa) of Pahokee, Florida, 1 special niece/daughter: Stephondra Edwards (Christopher) of Wellington, Florida. 3 grandchildren: Lavariontay Wade and Chance Edwards both of Wellington, Florida and Zaya Charles of Atlanta, Georgia, nieces and nephews: Marvin Jones, Anjeanette Gilbert, Quentilla Patrick (JD), Zacari Andrews, Gerkeria Thomas, Quentella Thomas, Anthony Wallace, Joe-Louis Thomas, Antionette Kirkland (Lester), Anthony Campbell, Bruce Thomas Jr., Dominique Thomas, Brushirah Thomas, BruShunda Thomas, Darneshia Thomas, Kenya Whittaker, Jerry Jones, Bianca Wilson, Stephanie Thomas, Stephonda Thomas, Stephondria Thomas, Sharviar Thomas, and Stephon Thomas Jr.; Special Great-nieces and nephews: Azjiah Graham, Victor Butts Jr, Jaida Patrick, Jaden Patrick, Zyiah Butts, Vagas Butts, Deizel Andrews, and Ry'heim Roberson; one very special cousin/aunt: Barbara Henry of Clewiston, Florida, Extended nephew and niece: Geoffrey James and Jonique Bennett, Special Friends; Lorna Roker and Michelle Millis, and Special relatives that she held close to her heart: Phaedra McCloud, Quentella Thomas, Venkerria Lewis and Venita Jones.
Jacqueline also leaves to cherish a host of family members, extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
