Jacqueline Denise Oakley, known affectionately to family and friends as "Moochee", was born in Belle Glade, Florida on October 22, 1971 to Gloria Oakley and Arthur Humphries. Jacqueline was blessed to gain a second father, Urias Brackin, during her lifetime. She departed this life on April 25, 2020.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her grandparents, Veola Oakley and Allan P. Oakley; her fathers Arthur Humphries and Urias Brackin; aunts Norma Jean Caldwell and Dorothy Humphries; brothers Colin Ricketts, Jr. and Arthur Humphries, Jr.; and cousins Chadlis Kae Caldwell and Gary Caldwell.
She received her high school diploma at Glades Central Community High School in Belle Glade, Florida, and continued her education at Palm Beach State College. It was there Jacqueline received her Early Childhood Professional Certification; She was an Early Childhood Educator for eleven years. Jacqueline was a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant for over twenty-five years, she received her certification from Mid County Nursing Practical School. She also had a passion and talent for event planning and decorating. For over fifteen years Moochee was sought after by family, friends and community members to plan and decorate their events. She made every occasion special by bringing their vision to life. Moochee was a member of The Inspirational Church of God under the leadership of Pastor Leroy G. Carroll Jr. in South Bay, Florida.
Jacqueline's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She leaves behind a large family to cherish her memory: a loving mother Gloria Brackin; three beautiful children: Michael Rogers Jr., D'Juawonshae Oakley and De'Mountria Spear all of South Bay, FL; one adopted daughter: Ron'Zaria Atkins; seven sisters: Angela Blackman of South Bay, FL; Kennedy Taylor Hallock (and husband Jared) of Larchmont, NY; Shavone Ricketts of South Bay, FL; Maria Berrios of West Palm Beach, FL; Katrina Finney (and husband Lester) of Belle Glade, FL; Kaotra Humpries of Belle Glade, FL; Audra Humphries of South Bay, FL; one brother: LeAndre Humphries of Belle Glade, FL; one nephew: Reginald McKelvin Jr., four nieces: Re'Taija McKelvin, Peyton Hallock, Sydney Hallock, Phoenix Hallock; five grandchildren: Austyn Oakley, Llogan Rogers, Autymn Vickers, Llandon Rogers and Malia Rogers; six dear friends: Tarangela Ford, Cassandra Jones, Alicia Graham, Janice Jarrell, Katrina Jackson and Selene Battle and a host of other family and friends.
