Mr. Hezekiah Jackson jr. was born on September 20, 1940. He was born in Fort Gaines,
Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Hezekiah and Carrie Lee Jackson. The family moved to Pelican
Lake in the early 1950's. He was the 3 rd of 5 children his parents were blessed with.
Hezekiah passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025 at the Glades Health Care
Center.
He received his early education at the Bryant Camp School. He graduated from Lake
Shore High School in Belle Glade, Florida in the class of 1958. He cherished many
memories of playing football (Bobcats).
Hezekiah joined the work force during his early teens. He worked after school and on
weekends doing field work. He worked for years at the Ice-House, U S Sugar Corp and
retired from Osceola Farms.
Hezekiah was preceded in death by his parents Hezekiah Jackson; his siters, Mildred
Madison, Willie Maude Jackson and Myrtice Deann; and a special friend Lostein Griffin.
Hezekiah leaves fond memories with his sister Retha Jackson of Rochester, New York;
his (sister/ niece), Dorothy Rhodes, (Nieces) Brenda Jackson, Lawanna Madison,
Simonette Jackson and Willete Jones; (Nephews) Rufus Jackson, Randy Jackson,
Demond, Codera, Kenny Jacksoon, Kevin Jones, James Rhodes, Lonnie Madsion and
Loren Dean; (Children)Clinton, Mildred and Carson Jackson, Tyrone Polk, Marcus
Griffin and Kunta Griffin; (Special Grand daughter) Tynisha Polk; A Special Family, The
Polk Family, Hezekiah also leaves a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins,
grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends; (Special friends)
