Obituary

Deacon Ham Bryant was born on August 21, 1929, in Live Oak, Florida, to the late Pastor P.J. Bryant and Alberta Bryant. He was raised in a loving and faith-filled home that helped shape his strong character, devotion to God, and commitment to family and community.

He was united in holy matrimony to Ethel Lee Bryant, and together they established their home in Sand Cut, Florida. Later, Deacon Bryant relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he was employed by Broward County. He served faithfully and honorably, carrying out his duties with dedication, integrity, and joy.

Deacon Bryant was a man of deep faith, humility, and quiet strength. As a devoted Deacon, he lived a life that reflected his love for God and his commitment to serving others. He was known for his gentle spirit, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to his family and church.

On February 12, 2026, Deacon Ham Bryant peacefully entered eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; four sons and one daughter; three sisters; and nine brothers.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving children: Earnestine Lewis, Clara Davis (Kirk), Easter Gordon, Priscilla Taylor, Terry Bryant, Gloria Richard, and Janette Butler; his devoted sisters, Clara M. Bell and Myrtle King; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and many other relatives and friends who will forever honor and cherish his life and legacy.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness." ~ 2 Timothy 4:7-8
