Gloria Albertha Gilkes transitioned to be with the Lord on March 17th, 2023, at Palms West Hospital surrounded by family. Gloria was born in Barbados to parents Leonard Granum and Eunice Clarke, on November 27th, 1941, in St. Michael, Barbados.

Gloria was preceded in death by (Mother) Eunice Clarke, (Father) Leonard Granum, (Brothers) Allen Marshall, Ansel Clark, (Sisters) Eudell Marshall, Hettie Herbert, and Arlene Clark, (Daughter) Phyllis Gilkes,  (Grandchildren) Antonio Gilkes, Kimberly Gilkes, Jaynieka McCatty, and Warren Hallback, (Great Grandchildren) Amariyah Chapple, Elijah Hall, and Sparkle Melton.

Gloria is survived by husband Cuthbert Gilkes of Clewiston, FL; children: Margaret Ifill (Gerald) of Clewiston, FL, Anthony Gilkes (Carolyn) of West Palm Beach, FL, Veronica Gilkes of Barbados, Grafton Gilkes (Shona) of Orlando, FL, Janet McCatty (David) of Clewiston, FL, Lisa Huggins (Christopher) Outer Banks, NC, Jennifer Cliatt (Ruben) of Tampa, FL; (27) grandchildren, (62) great grandchildren, (11) great great grandchildren, and a host of sorrowing friends, and loves ones, nephews and nieces too many to mention.
