Obituary

Foursight Jackson, formerly known to friends and family as "Chiney Man", was one of nine children born to Thomas and Pearline Jackson of Porters Mountain Westmoreland (Jamaica). He is preceded in death by the following siblings; Ronald Malcom, Gloria Porter and Flavour Robinson. Foursight attended Port Mountain All Age School where he met the love of his life Elaine Ruddock and together there had five children, Sherma, Clive, Donavan, Howard, Carmeta. Foursight migrated the United States in 1972. Later in life he met and married Elizabeth Jackson who also preceded him in death.

Foursight worked at Okeechobee High School for 29 years. Within those years he earned The Employee of the Year Award twice. Foursight was also a faithful member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board for many years. Foursight accepted Christ as his personal savior approximately 11 years ago. Foursight was very outgoing and loved to ride around until his health failed.

After a strong fight and unwavering faith Foursight completed his course on February 3rd, 2023 when God dispatched angels to his bedside for him to rest from all of his labour. He is preceded in death by one son; Donovan Jackson.

Foursight leaves to cherish his memories, six children: Sherma (Jackson) McKinzie, Clive Jackson, Howard Jackson, Carmeta Jackson, Sharlondra Jackson and Starlene Jackson, siblings: Vivian Jackson and Clemart Jackson both of Jamaica, Balfoe Jackson of New Jersey, Melveta Rogers of Okeechobee and Shroll Scott of New York; Grandchildren: Shericka, Antoinette, Steffon, Kedesha, Christina, Carlos, Britina, Sharla, Joel, Jessania, Touri-Ann; Great grandchildren: Taevon, Trayvon, Trayvion, Jerome, Leiquon, Demari, Devari, Avonique, Avion, Joel, Deanna, Annabel and a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
