Mother Evelyn Ziggler was called home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2018. Evelyn was born on October 2, 1946 to the late Michael Ross and Katie Bell Cross.

Evelyn grew up in the Glades Tri-City Area where she worked for US Sugar Cooperation, and Palm Beach County School Board in the Head Start Program. She was currently working with Palm Beach County West Senior Services Center as a companion for seniors, at the time of her passing.

Evelyn was a woman of strength and dignity and had no fear of old age, when she spoke, her words were wise, and kindness was the rule for everything she said. Charm can be deceptive and beauty doesn't last, but a woman who fears and reverence God shall be greatly praised.

Evelyn was a faithful member of World Wide Christian Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Patricia Smith.

She leaves to mourn one beautiful daughter, Barbara N. Robinson (Arthur) of Belle Glade, FL; two sons: Thomas Franklin, Charles Hayes both of Belle Glade, FL; two brothers: Elder James Brinkley (Thelma) of Moore Haven, FL, Bobby Lee Turner of Belle Glade, FL; two sisters: Christine Jenkins (James), Sarah L. Pittman both of Belle Glade, FL; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one special god-daughter: Shandreka Horne of Belle Glade, FL; a special friend Betty Lou Leggett of Belle Glade, FL and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
