Obituary

Man makes appointments and decides which ones to keep and those to cancel. However, there are two appointments over which man has no control. Eula Mae Brown kept the first appointment on January 12, 1960 at Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade, Florida. She kept the second appointment the day she left this world, January 20, 2018.
Eula was born to Ed Brown Sr. and the late Mildred Brown.
Eula received her formal education through the Palm Beach County School District. She graduated from Glades Central High School in 1978. She later received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.
Eula used her degree to enter a beloved career as State Trooper for the state of Florida for 28 years. She worked in several capacities namely as a homicide investigator. She was among first black females to do so. Eula wore her uniform boldly and proudly until she retired in 2010 as a Sergeant. She was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.
Eula was a member of Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church where she especially enjoyed Bible Study. She also sung in the choir which she enjoyed also. At her sunset on January 20, 2018, Eula cast aside her earthly body and as she joined God's Holy Congregation.
Her memory shall forever be cherished by her father, Ed Brown Sr. (South Bay, FL); her brother: Reverend Ed Brown Jr. (Sharon) and her sister: Clara Clark (Kelvin) of Port St. Lucie, FL; Eula's nephew: Keditha Williams (Christina), and nieces: LaShawn Burden, Mildred "Suzy Q" Towns, Kelvina Casilla (Jonathan) and Kelisha Clark. She also leaves behind a host of great nieces, great nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Eula's four special friends Lucille Fletcher, Janet Santos, Marie Lee and Sharon Stevenson; a surrogate mother: Ms. Johnnie Mae McCloud and a very special aunt (her twin), Eva Brown Reese (Charlie) are also left with cherished memories.
