Eugene Hunter Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Eugene Hunter Sr. was born on February 21, 1927 to the late Willie Grover and Rubin Hunter in Shorter, Alabama.
Eugene relocated to Clewiston, Florida in 1942 and began his employment with Chinese Farms, in 1988 at the age of 62 Eugene retired. In 1951 Eugene joined the late Mrs. Opienell Hunter in Holy Matrimony, to this union 17 children were born.
On May 20, 2018 Eugene Hunter Sr. entered eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his wife, Opienell Hunter; children: Tommie Lee hunter, Freddie Lee Hunter, Jerry Lee Hunter, Sheila Williams, Eugene Hunter Jr., Charles Nathaniel Hunter and 2 unnamed baby boys.
Eugene is survived by his children: Willie Lee Hunter, James Brent Hunter, Barbara Ann Hunter, Clarence Hunter, Michael Hunter, Marcia Hunter Gilkes, David Lewis Hunter, Cathy Hunter, Johnny Lee Hunter; one sister: Annie Germany; 43 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
