Remembering the Life of
Emmet Jones

Emmett Jones entered this world on August 21st 1956 in Arcadia Florida to the late Woodie and Bennie Jones, Sr, Sadly on May 24th 2026 the Lord called Emmett home.

Emmett attended high school in Clewiston, Florida until he graduated . During his time in high school, he played basketball and ran cross country track. After graduation he went on to attend Bethune Cookman College in Daytona Beach where he received his Masters in Business Administration.

After graduating from College, he moved to Jacksonville and managed various fast food restaurants.

While living in Jacksonville, Emmett started his family, He had 3 children, Nicole Johnson, Jeremy Jones and Emmett Jones. Jr. all of Jacksonville.

Emmett enjoyed watching the soaps, not everyone knew that, he also loved his scratch offs, playing the football pool, going to the casino and watching tv (all day, mainly sports)

Emmett leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Nicole Johnson, Jeremy Jones and Emmett Jones, Jr. all of Jacksonville…grandchildren, D Andre Stephen, Jadda Jones, Jasmine Jones, Nazir Jones, Zymere Jones…....brothers ..Bennie Lee, Jr. of Jacksonville, Richard Jones (Betty) of Jacksonville, Kenneith Jones (Terri) of Tampa, Donald Wade of Clewiston, sisters Andrew Moore and Robbie Jones both of Clewiston, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends…

Emmett is preceded in death by his mother, Woodie Jones, his father, Bennie Jones, Sr, his sister Marie Jones…and .his niece Shawanda Scruggs
