Emma Jean Odom was born December 3, 1952, to the late George and Carrie Wright.

Emma was known to family and friends as "Tutt". She was raised in Shawnee Farm and received her education from Glades County School District.

In 1996 Emma married the late Henry Frank Odom. Desiring a better life Emma relocated to Clewiston, Florida.

On December 21, 2022, Emma Jean Odom answered the Master's call, now she's resting in the bosom of Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents, two children: Dewayne and Anthony, three siblings:  Elizabeth (Willie) Johnson, George (Bennie) Byrd, Caroline (Ernest) Hall.


Memories of Emma will be forever cherished by her loving children:  Shirley Addison (Walter -deceased), Tyrone Odom (Lisa), Jerome Odom, Arnette Odom, Cornelius Odom (Victoria) all of Clewiston, FL and Sandra Odom of West Palm Beach, FL; four sisters: Lula Robinson (Virgil),  Lovely Wright, Dorothy Wright, Dylester (Dana) Evans all of Clewiston, FL; eight sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-laws; one aunt: Georgia Mims of Riviera Beach, FL; twenty-five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; her godson: Christian Dixon; three devoted friends: Charzetta Cohens, Rosmary Davis, Mary Jane Rushing and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
