Dorothy Fitzpatrick was born on April 8, 1956. She was the fifth child of the late and beloved Mrs. Mary Clyde Davis-Fitzpatrick and Mr. Roman Fitzpatrick, of Belle Glade, Florida.

She attended Lake Shore High School, where she received her high school education. Dorothy then went on to become a Preschool Teacher.

On the early morning of February 7, 2020, she was called home.

Dorothy leaves behind her loving kids, one son, Steve (Benita) Fitzpatrick, and three daughters, Shahona (deceased), Byshanae, and La'Passion; four grandchildren: Lil Steve, Brianna, Brinayia, and Antwane; two brothers: Stephen Fitzpatrick and Kenneth (Barbara) Fitzpatrick; three aunts: Rose Burden, Ruthie Powell, and Rachael Cato; two uncles: Huey Fitzpatrick and Robert Cato; special friends: Sandra Harold and Helen Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
