Today we celebrate Darryl Keith Poole's remarkable life, born on December 21, 1966, in the close-knit community of Belle Glade, Florida. Darryl, often referred to as a "brother to many," departed from this world on March 10, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving a lasting legacy marked by kindness, wit, and an indomitable spirit that touched everyone he encountered.

Darryl graduated from Glades Central High School Class of 1984, where he sang in the chorus, played football and track and field (shot put). He continued his education at Florida A&M University.

His post-college years were marked with numerous roles as a supervisor in the restaurant business, an employee of Inlet Grove, and eventually, he was led to the radio station following in his father's and grandfather's legacy.

His life was filled with incredible bonds formed over decades with so many people. He had a love for life that he shared with us all, through his jokes and cooking.

Darryl Poole was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents Harvey Poole Sr and Margaret Poole and maternal Grandparents Thomas Hargrove and Ethel Mae Garner. Parents Harvey Poole Jr and Olive Hargrove.

He leaves to cherish Brother Harvey Devore. Sisters Letah Parrish, Barbette Pla (Norris), Samantha McNeil, and Harvetta Poole. Children Dominik, Sammie and Abdul. Grandchildren Dijhani, Dominik Jr, D'Angelo, Briella and Jahaziel. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends that he called brothers/sisters and lifelong friend David Scott.
