Darryl Nathaniel Dorm, son of the late Clayton Maddox Sr. and Georgina Dorm, was born on May 10, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland. At an early age, Darryl was introduced to the word of Jehovah. He attended the public schools of Baltimore City and was a graduate of Mergenthaler High School Class of 1984.
After relocating to Belle Glade, Florida, in 1997, he met Marion Ford and years later they were united in holy matrimony. With this union, Darryl was blessed with 4 bonus children and a host of in-laws.
For many years, Darryl worked tirelessly as a chemist at U.S Sugar. Darryl was a gentle giant as he was loving, intelligent, out-spoken, and a giving person. He was a hero as a father who was firm and respected by many. Some of his favorite pastimes were reading, spending time with family on vacations, going to the movies, and playing family games.
On March 18, 2021 Darryl Dorm was called to his eternal home. He is preceded in death by his brother Eric Lamar Lee and his sister Mary Helen Maddox.
Darryl leaves a lifetime of memories to be cherished by his devoted wife Marion Elizabeth Dorm; his four step-children: Shakira Askew (Byron), Terri Peete, Stephanie Hart (Robert), and Jermesha Peete; seven precious step-grandchildren: Byron Gary, Kaliayah McKenzie, Abria Askew, Ayden Zambrana, Marion McKenzie, Jyron Askew, and Taylor Hart; three siblings: Holly Lee, Clayton Maddox Jr (Kimiko)., and Arthur Lee (Janet); five sister-in-laws: Margaret J. Williams, Virginia McKenzie (Theodis), Lenora Harris (Rufus), Malinda Jones (Hazel), and Drucilla Ford; a host of nieces, nephews, and a best friend, Anthony Bryant.
