Courtney Javontavis Nero Sr. was born on June 4, 1993 in Pahokee, Florida, to Mary Ann Jones and the late Robert Nero Jr.

Courtney was educated in the Palm Beach County School District. He attended Glades Central Community High School. After high school Courtney began working in the construction industry.

Courtney was full of love and laughter. He enjoyed having fun and living his best life. In his spare time he loved golfing, going out to eat, and playing his game while talking trash. You could always hear him coming before you saw him, Courtney always greeted you with "wassup" followed by a big hug. His presence was always made known and before leaving Courtney it was always, "I Love You". His love for his children, family and friends was incredible; Courtney was loved by many.

On February 15, 2024 Courtney entered eternal rest. Courtney is preceded in death by his father Robert Nero Jr., his grandparents, Mary France Jones, Hildra Jones, R.L Nero and his auntie, Novella Jones.

He leaves behind memories for his (3) Children Ja'Layla Nero (8), Courtney Nero Jr. (7), Chloe Nero (7months); his loving mother: Mary Ann Jones; his grandmother: Corine Gary; he also leaves (5) brothers: Anthony Billings Jr, Robert Nero III. Robert Nero IV, Cornelius Nero, Robert Nero (6) sisters: Marquita Billings, Rasheka Billings, Dawanda Billings, LaQuanda (Deodrick) Ballard, Marissa Nero, Shakira Nero and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
