Coley Epps was born on the 29 ^th day of January 1939 in Olanta, South Carolina to Joseph Epps and Sula Burgess. He departed this life on Saturday, December 9 ^th , 2017 at his place of residence.

Coley was a man with a huge heart. He always was a helping hand to others especially in his neighborhood. His favorite hobby was taking his daily walks around town. It didn't take much to put a smile on his face; just stopping by would brighten his day.

He leaves to cherish great memories with his sisters: Lizzie Slydell of Pahokee, FL, Flossie (Clarence) Lewis of South Bay, FL, Barbara Epps of Summerville, SC, Patricia (Willie) Harrison of Goose Creek, SC; three brothers: James Smith of Cade, SC, Harry Epps and Zack Epps both of Florence, SC; one godsister: Mary Kelly; his brother-in-law: John Willie Slydell of Pahokee, FL; a very special niece Chanel Slydell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Coley is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Edna May Epps Mills and Julia Ann Smith Davis.
