Clarence Coney affectionately known as "Coney" was born March 3, 1956 in Belle Glade, Florida to the late Ernest and Essie Coney. Clarence attended public schools in Palm Beach County. Clarence had a love for truck driving, which he drove for his father trucking company "Coney Trucking" and others. He traveled all over the world working in the agriculture industry with sweet corn and sugarcane. Clarence met Wanda Dawkins and to this union, both one and only child was born whom they named Clarence Coney, Jr. while driving through this land, God pulled Clarence over and said, it's time to park the truck and take your rest.

He leaves to cherish everlasting memories, his son: Clarence (Ashantae) Coney, Jr. of Sarasota, FL; 12 grandchildren: De'Coya, Jarvarous, Jamavous, Demarcus, Tamia, Ashantae, Kashia, C'leshia, Clarence, Terrence, Laqueen and Miracle Coney; 2 great granchildren: Jarvarous Jr. and Avianna Coney; sisters: Shirley Coney
