Charlie Joe Williams was born on January 22, 1928 in Baker, county Georgia.
He spent his early childhood years in Newton, Georgia with his loving mother Alice and brother J.C. , and sister Christine.
In 1954 at the age of 26, Charlie Joe left Georgia to make his home in Florida.
His passion for traveling landed him life long employment as a migrant farm worker traveling across the United States.
He married Betty Jean Hammonds from South Carolina in the late 1950's and they had two children, Shirl and Carl. He also had a daughter Roberta from a previous relationship.
He departed this life on November 22,2017 in the early hours of the morning at Lakeside hospital after being ill for a little over two months.
Charlie Joe is preceded in death by his son Carl Joe, his wife Betty Jean, his mother Alice and his brother J.C.
He is survived by two daughters, Roberta Frazier of Belle Glade, Florida and Shirl Parsons of Cresco, Pennsylvania, six granddaughters, Janice, Sharon, Tasha, Garquette, Marian, and Carla Williams of Sleepy Hollow, New York, Two grandsons, Daniel Williams of Sleepy Hollow, New York and Raphael Parsons of Cresco, Pennsylvania, his sister Christine Hall of Newton, Georgia, and a Host of great grand children, great great grand children, and nieces and nephews.
