Carolyn Gamble was born on January 10, 1958 to the late Betty Bells Cummings and Charles Cummings.

Carolyn grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where she attended Sumner High School. Later, she met the love of her life, Leroy Gamble. In 1986 they moved to Florida, residing in South Shore Village. She was employed by US Sugar Corporation and South Bay Correctional Facility, in South Bay, Florida. Carolyn relocated to South Bay, Florida in 2000 until her demise.

On August 15, 2022 Carolyn entered eternal rest.

She leaves cherished memories with her two children, Xavier Hatcher and Treyus Billups; her sisters: Gwendolyn Patrick of Orlando, FL, Towanna Smith of St. Louis, MO, her Florida sister, Patrecia Mitchell and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
