Bobby Gene Jones, Sr. was born to Lucinda Golphin and Melvin Jones, Sr. on July 9, 1966, in the great city of Pahokee, Florida.

At an older age he began to fellowship at the Deliverance Christian Center, under the leadership of Pastor Willie Jenkins. Bobby attended Pahokee High School and graduated in the Class of 1984. While there he joined the O.D. Express Marching Band. After high school, he pursued employment with A. Duda and Sons Inc, where he dedicated 36 years of service; reaching a great milestone within the company. After retirement, Bobby pursued employment with U.S. Sugar Corp for one and half years.

Bobby enjoyed the life of fishing, grilling, working, watching football and basketball. He mainly loved life itself, his family, kids, grandchildren, and friends.

Bobby transitioned from life on earth to everlasting life on November 5, 2023, at 11:32 PM. He is preceded in death by his brother Melvin Jones and grand parents Verdell and Enoch Golphin.

Bobby leaves to cherish his life and legacy with his mother: Lucinda Golphin; father: Melvin Jones, Sr.; one brother: Cedrick Golphin (Earlean) and sister: Ambrosia Golphin; children: Nyamesha Jones, Alicia Jones, Lavett Jones, Rocqueline Jones, Joshua Williams all of Pahokee, FL; ShaQuevia Jones of Macon, GA, Tia "Peaches" Walker of Belle Glade, FL, Bobby Jones, Jr.; step children: Lamarcus Williams and JaTava Brinson of Belle Glade, FL; uncle: James Golphin (Shirley); aunts: Nancy, Carolyn and Barbara Jones; A host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends to hold the memories and good times they shared.
