Bennie Clarence Brooks was born on December 10, 1965 to Clarence Brooks Jr. and Gloria Jean Brooks in Clewiston, FL. From the very beginning, his life carried a story uniquely his own. Those who knew him remember a man who possessed strength, humor, resilience and wisdom. Though his time with us was far too short, the love and memories he created will remain a lasting treasure for all who knew him.

Bennie was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Brooks Jr., his mother, Gloria Jean Brooks, and his sister, Sincerely Hill.

Bennie is survived by his wife, Emilia Brooks, his daughter, Raquel Clark, his granddaughter, Briyana Clark, his siblings Lenoria Broughton, Melvin Brooks (the late Joy Brooks), Regina Holmes (Garrett Holmes), Mary Felton (Michael Felton), Terry Brooks, Nestine Brooks, Angela Brooks, Lorenzo Brooks, Tarsha Brooks, Reggie Brooks (Roshunda Brooks), Melissa Brooks, Clarence Case Brooks III, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Bennie was a man who found joy in life's simplest pleasures. He enjoyed good food, genuine laughter, and the comfort of being surrounded by those who he loved and cared about. His presence could warm a room with his radiant smile.
