Antuwan Lavaro Smith was born on May 25, 1990 to Anthony Lenard Smith Sr. and Karen Denise Smith in West Palm Beach, FL. Raised in Clewiston, FL, he attended Clewiston High School. Antuwan was a hard worker who had gifted hands. He was known as a Jack of all trades having worked in various occupations as diverse as landscaping, construction, farming and auto detailing.
Antuwan never met a stranger and greeted all with an easy genuine, smile and a firm reassuring handshake. His friendliness and devotion endeared him to many lifelong friends. Known affectionately by his family as WuWu and his close friends as Chip/Tuwan, he was a loyal son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin leaving in the wake of his departure many who will dearly miss him.
Antuwan departed this life on September 1, 2019 having an intact legacy that includes the love of his life, Mrs. Samantha Kathleen Smith (formerly Rudd) of Moore Haven, FL. He is survived by son Jayden Smith, daughters Jazaylah Rosemarie Jimenez, Aleena Lenn Smith, stepson Levi Chrome Rudd. Also mourning his loss is his Father Anthony L. Smith, Sr., Mother Karen Denise Smith, brothers Anthony Smith Jr., Antravon L. Smith, sisters Carmen Boston, Antoinette Smith, Juana Icon, Antia Smith, and Sarah Smith, grandparents Virginia Samellar Mckenzie (Theodis), Solomon W Boston Jr. (Annie). He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dan and Sarah Smith. Antuwan leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
