Obituary
Anthony Darnell Steele Jr, 27 also known as "Lil Ant" gained his wings on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Anthony Jr. was born on August 15, 1997, in Belle Glade FL to Rosie Jones and Anthony Steele Sr. He was the youngest of eight children. Shameka Jones, Chantiel Steele, Andriana Gowdy, Diamiranda Stevens, Antoinette Steele-Spencer, Jerome Odom Jr. and Derell Odom.
Anthony Jr. was a loving father to G'Yari Steele, Anthony Darnell Steele III, and Skylar True Steele. He has a host of Aunts and Uncles that loved him dearly, which includes but not limited to Mary Ann Jones, Jackie Streeter, Johnny Streeter, Carriemae Sirmans, Mary Jane McKenzie, Roxanne Edwards, MC Edwards Jr, John Edwards, Lula Pearl Edwards, Kenneth Hardy, and Christopher Hardy. A shining light and major piece of his family's puzzle. He was full of humor and loved spending time with his children and family. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike and fishing at any open pond, creek or lake that he could find. He grew up watching his father, Anthony Darnell Steele Sr., fix on cars every day, so he was a natural expertise in being a mechanic.
Aside from being a loving son, brother, father and cousin, he was a great friend to many, his smile would light up a room. Anytime we tease or compliment him on a subject, he responds by saying "Just Chill". Anthony received his education through the Hendry County School District. He graduated from Clewiston High School with the Class of ????. He recently started a great career as a "Big D Paving Loading Operator" in West Palm Beach, FL. Where he had plans on staying long term to one day retire. He was so excited and happy that he was able to provide steadily for his children and maybe give a few dollars to his siblings if we asked him. The love and care he had for his children, family and friends will be greatly missed! We love you "Lil Ant".
