In the very early hours on September 15, 2019 there was an open gate at the end of the road which each must go alone; and there, in light we cannot see, our Father claim his own. Beyond the gate, our loved one finds happiness and rest where there is comfort in the thought that our loving God know best.

On August 31, 1945, God brought into the lives Francis and Mose Smith (deceased) a baby girl which we named our precious daughter Annie Sue Smith.

Annie Sue is survived by her daughters, Sherri Handsford, Cassandra Joseph, Melinda Handsford, Quiya Handsford, Elsie Phillips; one son: Levelle Phillips; three sisters: Mikkii Hope, Flora Jones, Clara Jones; two brothers: Willie Smith, Bill Handsford; her three sister-in-laws: Vivian Wade, Glenda Handsford, Joan Posey; two brother-in-laws: Marvin Jackson, Cleveland Jones; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; special friends: Betty Cole, Corine Bethea, Shirley Styles; she also leaves host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
