On November 22, 1966, Alonzo was born at Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade, Florida.
A sweet and precious baby boy to Ms. Dorothy Ann Perry.

Aonzo always had a creative mind and excelled while enrolled in the Palm Beach County school system and graduated from Glades Central Community High School in 1986. Always crafty and resourceful, Alonzo held superior leadership positions at U.S Sugar Corp, Holland Pump, and recently, Palm Beach Aggregates.

He met the love of his life and best friend, Nadeen in 1997 and later married on April 25, 2003. Throughout their 20 years of marriage, they lovingly raised and nurtured their three children, Alonzo Jr., Quintin, and Za'Ria. Alonzo worked hard to ensure his family was taken care of and felt loved every day.

Alonzo wore many hats; besides husband and dad, he was also a devoted brother, son, uncle, cousin, and friend; but one of the titles he loved best was Grandpa. Being a grandpa came naturally to Alonzo, and his grandkids loved his hugs, kisses, and hearty laugh and proudly doted over and spoiled them every chance possible.

Alonzo had the biggest heart and the warmest smile, and while he was private and quiet; he was also very witty and fun and usually created a nickname for everyone. He was fearless and independent, incredibly compassionate, and a culinary master that left everyone full and satisfied with his amazing meals, desserts, and holiday dinners.

He loved sports, and you would find him yelling and coaching the game from his favorite spot on the couch. Alonzo was also a music lover and was always up for a concert or an R&B music festival. He and Nadeen also loved to travel and found time to pack a suitcase and explore another city or country.

On Saturday, April 15, 2023, surrounded by family and friends, God whispered to Alozono, "Peace be thine." Alonzo rejoins his loved ones and adds another link in the family chain with those who preceded him; his mother, Dorothy Ann Perry (aka Honey), sister Sharon Singletary Chapple, and grandparents, Samuel Ford and Mattie Lee Perry-Ford. As God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

He is survived by his wife, Nadeen Perry, two sons, Alonzo Perry Jr. and Zo'Quintin Perry, and his "baby girl" daughter Za'Ria Perry. His sisters, Shena Perry-Watson and Samantha Lynn Perry-Thomas (Travis). Five (5) precious grandchildren, Alonzo Perry III, Jaylen, Adel, Anai, and Anyla. Godson David Fields, father and mother-in-law Hubert and Alice Braham. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws, and many caring friends that he adored.
