A Time to Be Born
Alma "Lean" Wallace was born to Annie Mae Brown-Wallace on October 23, 1952 at Everglades Memorial Hospital in Pahokee, Florida.
A Time to Grow and Work
Alma Lean graduated from Pahokee High School in the year 1973.
With a desire to care for people, she became a (CNA) certified nurse's assistant. She furthered her education and entered and received her license from the State of Florida Board of Nursing in 1989. She was employed in the nursing field for over 35 years. She worked at Everglades Memorial Hospital, Glades Correctional Institution, Sago Palm Academy and she retired from Martin Correctional Institutional in 2014.
A Time of Service
Alma accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal Saviour, was baptisted and joined the Pahokee Church of God in 1998, she served faithfully as a member and served on the church cleaning committee.
A Time to Cherish
Alma Wallace, affectionately known as Lean, leaves to cherish her forever memories: Her mother: Annie Mae Wallace; her loving daughter: Anita (Eric) Wright; one granddaughter: Brielle Wright of Mirmar, FL; a special aunt: Charlotte Babb; one brother: Frank Dewitt (Rev. Patricia) Wallace; one sister: Ella Mae (Bishop Bud) Mickins; a special sister: Shatiegh Furse; three special cousins raised as siblings: Richard (Elizabeth) Brown, Mayor Keith (Debra) Babb, Bishop E. Eugene (Eleanor) Babb all of Pahokee, FL; three aunts: Rosa Hudson of Charlottesville, VA, Lula (Simeon) Musyoki of Kenya, Africa, Edith Russ Thompson of Charlottesville, VA; a special aunt: Margaret Brown Jackson; a special uncle: Alfred Sooders, Jr.; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alma also leaves her god-daughters: Jamalia Smith-Boyce, special family friends: Wilbur Mincey, Lelia Malone, Sarah Nell (Freddie) Harrell and special friends from the Everglades Memorial Hospital.

To my family and friends please be thankful today, I'm still close beside you, in a new special way, I love you all dearly, now don't shed a tear cause I'm spending my Christmas with Jesus this year.
