Obituary

Alfred came to the United States as a migrant worker in his prime.  He worked and became a naturalized U.S. Citizen. Alfred was employed by U.S. Sugar Corporation of many years holding varies positions throughout his employment.  He also was a chef for South Bay Growers.

After Retiring He devoted most of his time volunteering around the communities of South Bay, Belle Glade, and Pahokee. He was a supportive father to many and true friend to those who knew him.

Alfred was married to the late Leila Brown of Belle Glade. They were the proud parents of Angela Brown (deceased).  He later met Jacqueline Thompson and became the proud father of four.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Angela Brown and son Dimarques Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memories of 83 well lived years to his loving children, Clive Brown of Jamaica; Kenni Brown, Latoya Brown-Sumpter, Jatavis Brown all of Belle Glade, FL; step-children: Wilnesha Thompson, Tavarious Thompson; grandchildren: Char'Tavis Davis, Shallain Brown, Dimarques Brown, Victoria Sumpter and a host of family and friends.

Alfred Brown was born on March 13, 1933 In Springville, Jamaica.
