Alfonso Brown Jr. was born February 16, 1940 to the late Alfonso Brown Sr. and Mary Brown in Panama City, Florida.

Alfonso met and married Mary J Cooper and had four daughters: Sheryl Smith, Deena Smith, Alsonya Brown and Lanetra Brown.  Two daughters proceeded him in death: Deena in 2012 and Lanetra in 2005. In addition he had another daughter Tammy Adams and two sons Hollis Hardwick and Eric Jones who proceeded him in death in 1980.

On January 4, 2021 at Hospice in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida Alfonso Brown Jr. entered eternal rest at 2:51pm with his daughters Alsonya and Tammy at his bedside.

Alfonso leaves to mourn his wife Mary J. Brown; three daughters: Sheryl, Alsonya, Tammy and his son Hollis; four brothers: George (Monica), Henry (Annie), Isaac and Timothy (Pam); four sisters: Mary (Jerome), Dorothy (Roy), Gloria (Sosa), Lena (Eddie) and two brothers Lonnie (Edith) and Clarence who proceeded him in death 1992; Alfonso is survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; special grandson: Antwon and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
