Adell Sanders was born to the late Timothy Sanders and CeClie McClain on September 25, 1941 in Braggs, Alabama.

Adell relocated to Florida in the 1960's. He joined Mount Olive Baptist Church of Ritta Camp under the leadership of Pastor James Walker. Adell began his employment with United States Sugar Corporation on October 23, 1973 where he was known as a hard worker. After over 26 years of dedication Adell retired on June 30, 2000. On January 14, 1989 Adell united with Bertha Mosely in Holy Matrimony. Later on in his life Adell joined New Hope Church in Harlem under the pastoralship of Reverend James Bigham. He was a man that was loved by many. Adell was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and Alabama A&M.

On December 21, 2018 Adell transitioned from labor to reward, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" now he's sleeping in the bosom of Jesus Christ.

Adell leaves cherished memories with his devoted wife: Bertha Sanders; loving mother: Ceclie McClain of Buffalo, NY; two daughters: Shirley Sanders of Greensville, AL, Patricia Webber (Tony) of Clewiston, FL; two sons: Darrell Sanders of Greenville, AL and Marcus Sanders of Clewiston, FL; two step-daughters: Michelle Norton (Juan) of Clewiston, FL, Sandy Brown of Orlando, FL; three stepsons: Albert Gray, Terry Gray both of Clewiston, FL, Ernest Henry (Lisa) of Columbus, GA; seven sisters: Joyce Jones, Lela McClain, Wanda Edwards, Betty McClain, Angie McClain all of Buffalo, NY, Annie Colston of Selma, AL, Annie Ray of Mobile, AL; five brothers: Vernon Sanders of Selma, AL, Lorenzo Sanders of Jackson, AL, Aruthur McClain, Jerry McClain, Jimmy McClain all of Buffalo, NY; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; extended family Isabella Stallworth (Judge) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
